1916 Arab revolt Study Day

The British Foundation for the Study of Arabia, in collaboration with the British Museum and the MBI Al Jaber Foundation, is holding a Study Day to mark the centenary of the Arab Revolt. Professor Eugene Rogan, Professor Ali Allawi, Dr Mehmet Tütüncü and Dr James Barr will explore the many perspectives on the reasons and course of the Revolt.

The Programme is as follows :

10.30 – 11.30 : Professor Eugene Rogan
Director of the Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford.

11.30 – 12.00 : Coffee

12.00 – 13.00 : Professor Ali Allawi
Research Professor at the National University of Singapore.
